He said that he was upset and hurt with the way the party was taking decisions. Among one of the party's decision was to have a party head in Pune.
BJP however were stern that the party will value him as he was a senior leader.
"Party leaders are meeting and any differences that may prevail will be settled. The party will take care of his concerns. All general and specific issues will be discussed and addresses," said Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP spokesperson.
Since the time Munde's supporter Yogesh Gogawale was pushed aside by the party for the post of BJP president, Pune and Vikas Mathkari, Gadkari's loyal was named there have been claims that the leader might leave the party.
"Opposition leader in the Assembly Eknath Khadse met me yesterday and invited me for tomorrow's BJP meeting in Delhi. I have accepted the invitation. Senior leader Venkaiah Naidu also called me and directed me to attend the meeting," said Munde on Friday, Jun 18.
"I will decide my future political course after tomorrow's meeting. I will seek some time to decide on what they (BJP leaders) have to say. Whatever I have to say, I will say in the party platform," he said.
"What options I have or I don't have, that I will say only after speaking with party leadership," said Munde when questioned about the platform to go to other party was open.
Talking about his recent meeting with leaders of NCP, Congress and Sena, he said that he was in politics for last three decades so it was natural to have contact with people from other party.
"Those who met me tried to gauge my pains," he added.
