Lucknow, Jun 17: The Allahabad High Court has ordered a full report by Jul 4 on the death of the minor who was allegedly raped and killed in a police station in Lakhimpur Kheri.

Allahabad HC said that the final decision would be taken only after a full report is submitted.

The CB-CID, Uttar Pradesh was to submit a report on rape and killing of Sonam in Lakhimpur Kheri on Jun 17.

The High Court on Jun 15, asked the CB-CID to submit a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) which demanded a CBI investigation into the matter.

According to sources there was a "attempt of rape" on the 14-year-old girl who was killed in Uttar Pradesh.

Her parents Tarranum and Intezam Ali had pleaded the Mayawati government to do justice and punish the guilty. They said the three policemen who raped her daughter insisted that their daughter committed suicide and threatened them to "take the body and run away."

The 14-year-old was found dead in the premises of the police station after she followed her cattle which strayed into the station premises.

The girl's family are accusing the police for their daughter's murder. According to the victim's father, Intezam Ali, the station officer Ravi Srivastava and a constable were responsible for the rape of his daughter, following which 11 policemen were suspended on Saturday, Jun 11.

On Wednesday, Jun 15 a doctor criticised the police for "misinterpreting" the postmortem report of the teenage girl. The doctor said that the report submitted by him and two other doctors said there were "injuries on the victim's neck and leg".

Dr Agarwal, who, with other doctors, SP Singh and AK Sharma conducted the first autopsy on the minor girl. After a report was submitted by the doctors, police announced that the minor had committed suicide.

After much protest from the public, a second autopsy was conducted which showed that the minor was killed.
