New Delhi, Jun 14: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has upped the ante by slamming the DMK by launching a tirade against the party. With a point by point rebuttal on the various allegations that cropped up during the DMK regime, Jaya did not spare the Home Minister P Chidambaram too. In the press conference she declared in her fiery rhetoric, "Chidambaram cheated the nation. He lost the 2009 polls. He has played fraud on the nation."

"Chidambaram lost the election in 2009, AIADMK candidate won, the case is in court. There is no softening in the stand," she added demanding Chidambaram should tender his resignation.

With the latest comment, she has let loose her emotions making them do the talking in the political war that hopes to wipe DMK off the political scene. When asked if she was vindictive on the charges against DMK, she replied, "They have reaped what they sowed, no question of me being vindictive."

With Jaya's Delhi visit raising eyebrows and giving the DMK sleepless nights, the statements are only giving teeth to the saying, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
