Dehradun, Jun 12: The spat between Baba Ramdev and the UPA government suddenly has become a battle between the yoga guru and the spiritual guru, Sri Sri Ravishankar. Ramdev, whose fast entered ninth day on Sunday, Jun 12, remained adamant to comtinue his hunger strike. However, Ravishankar also not ready to leave the field as he vowed to pursuade Baba to call off his fast.

After his second meeting with Ramdev at the local hospital in Dehradun, Sri Sri Ravishankar on Saturday, Jun 11 said, "He is adamant... I am adamant that he will give up his fast. I will stay here as long as it takes for him to give up his fast."

The Art of Living leader also showed his inclination to become a mediator between the government and the yoga icon to break the fuss on black money and corruption issues in general.

"I am always ready for reconciliation, the issue is sensitive. If the government wants to do something, then I am always ready to talk," added Ravishankar.

Ravishankar is expected to meet Baba for the third time on Sunday. Meanwhile, reports claimed that Ramdev's health was again deteriorating on Sunday morning.
