An international security firm reported that hackers intruded to Vietnamese government website including ministries of agriculture and foreign affairs, and posted information in Chinese and Chinese flags.
A report in AFP said that Vietnamese Foreign ministry spokeswoman Nguyen Phuong Nga confirmed hacking on "a number" of Vietnamese websites including one from the ministry's translation centre.
Meanwhile, Vietnam on Friday, Jun 10 said it will hold live-fire exercises in the South China Sea despite of China's threat.
Tension between China and Vietnam reached in its top after Vietnam accused Chinese boats of cutting cables from an oil exploration vessel inside its territory. China reacted severely to Hanoi's accusation by saying that the Chinese fishing boats were chased away by armed Vietnamese ships.
