Earlier, Murli Manohar Joshi, a senior BJP leader as well as the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) had hinted that 'four cabinet ministers were directing PAC members to behave in a particular manner within the committee'.
Joshi had said, "They circulated notes and made telephone calls to PAC members when a meeting was taking place."
Former Union Telecom Minister, A Raja along with M Kanimozhi, a fellow DMK leader and daughter of former chief minister of Tamil Nadu are now lodged in the Tihar jail in connection with their alleged involvements in the scandal.
Meanwhile there are also allegations of improper usage of his position as Union Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran, yet another leader from Tamil Nadu, with relations to the DMK's first family and not to mention a DMK leader as well.
