Stones pelted at Digvijay Singh's residence

Bhopal Jun 6: General Secretary of Congress, Digvijay Singh's house was pelted by some unidentified people on Monday, Jun 6, said Police.

Digvijay Singh on Sunday, Jun 5, had called Baba Ramdev a thug, adding that he was misleading the nation.

"We can't allow someone like Ramdev to run riot in Delhi. He had permission only to run a yoga camp. He was trying to incite people," said Singh.

"Some people pelted stones and shouted slogans at Digvijay Singh's residence in Shyamla Hills. But it happened for a few minutes and the group left the place," said, Yogesh Choudhary, Superintendent of Police (SP), Bhopal.

"After the incident, we have told the patrolling party to keep a watch on the house," he said.

Umesh Shrama, BJP Co-spokesperson criticised Digvijay Singh for constantly making derogatory remarks against Baba Ramdev adding that the society should condemn it.

He called it as "verbal violence" and said it was all Digvijay's trick to attract attention and agitate crowd.
