Rocket attacks kill five US soldiers in Iraq
The US military confirmed the death through a statement, but refused to disclose additional details about the incident. The statement read, "Five US service members were killed Monday in central Iraq."
Anyhow, Iraqi media reported that US troop members were killed in a rocket attack at Camp Victory on the outskirts of Baghdad. Unofficial reports claimed that more than five rockets had stuck on Camp Victory.
With five more deaths in Iraq, the number of American soldiers died in Iraq since the invasion in 2003 comes to 4,459.
Earlier, US President Barack Obama announced that the 50,000 US troops left in Iraq will leave the country by 2011 end. The present US force is helping the Iraqi soldiers control the situations.
