"After Osama bin Laden and 26/11 Mumbai attack suspect Ilyas Kashmiri being hunted down in Pakistani hideouts, the ISI does not want to be caught on the wrong foot once again by providing shelter to yet another most wanted suspect like Dawood. This will make their position very embarrassing,"said Himanshu Roy, Joint Commissioner, Police (crime).
Dawood no longer feel safe under the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and feels danger to his life, said underworld sources.
Sources say that Dawood is planning to shift to a safer haven where with mafia presence. There is also news that he wants to take along Chhota Shakeel and Aftab Bhatki.
It will be foolish of Dawood to trust the ISI, famous for backstabbing their men to save their skin, said an Ex-Intelligence Bureau, director to MiD DAY.
