Mumbai, Jun 6: India has witnessed two similar kind of agitations which were based on 'fast-unto-death" but the upshots were completely different. Veteran socialist Anna Hazare and yoga guru Baba Ramdev - both of them took the same platform to show their protest against the government and its inaction against increasing corruption in the nation.

While Anna Hazare received nation-wide attention and support without any difference of opinions, Ramdev's fast raised controversy. India's one of the most interesting sphere - Bollywood also snubbed Baba's agitation, though it (Bollywood) had shown enough backing to Anna.

Superstars like Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan have openly criticised Baba's struggle against the government as "politically motivated movement".

Actress Shabana Azmi also said, "In a democracy everybody has a right to take a stand on any issue. Anybody who brings the issue of corruption into the public domain, needs to be encouraged and applauded. But I had categorically mentioned that I do not want to support Baba Ramdev."

However, the B-Town expressed a different image towards Anna as most of the celebrities appeared at Jantar Mantar where Anna had earlier held his hunger strike demanding to draft "Lokpal Bill".

The differences in attitude towards the two protesters have been cited not only in Bollywood but aam-admi also have been divided over Baba protest. The yoga guru has resumed his fast after he was booted out by Delhi police on Jun 4.
