TN: DMK snubs Jayalalithaa's mission diminish Karunanidhi

Chennai, Jun 4: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has already started "mission diminish Karunanidhi" from the state. But for the first time DMK camp voiced against Amma's project strongly.

Reminding all struggles that the party has faced so far, DMK spokesperson said, "DMK has seen and faced many inquiry commissions. We are not bothered about this one and we are ready to face it."

AIADMK chief earlier ordered to start an investigation in DMK initiated Rs 1,000 crore project over alleged irregularities. A special commission has been set up which said, "There have been allegations of excess and wasteful expenditure and deficiency in the standards of new Secretariat building."

The DMK project, which has become the latest target by Tamil Nadu CM, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi in 2010.
