Indian girl Krittika reaches out to Hillary Clinton

New Delhi, Jun 2: Days after teenager, Krittika Biswas was arrested on wrong charges, the Indian Diplomat's daughter has now reached Hillary's office to seek her help in getting justice.

Ravi Batra, Krittika's lawyer wrote in a letter to Hillary Clinton that there was violation of diplomatic privilege. The letter also demanded immediate issuance and review of new clarification that authorizes rights given by the Vienna convention.

The Lawyer, earlier rejected the need for 'diplomatic immunity' for Krittika.

Prabhu Dayal, Indian Consul General, New York has said earlier that Krittika'a arrest was wrongful and that she had diplomatic immunity. He also criticised the US State Department for breaking the Vienna Convention rule which states that diplomatic immunity is given to the family members of consular officers.

Krittika, the daughter of Debashish Biswas, Vice Counsel at the consulate general of India in Manhattan who was arrested wrongly for sending obscene emails to her teachers filed a case against New York City and sued mayor Michael Bloomberg for an enormous amount of $ 1.5 million.
