Baba Ramdev
New Delhi, Jun 1: Amidst growing doubts over his commitment to the "Lokpal Bill" as agreed by the civil society, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on June 1, promised to pay no heed to the Prime Minister's call and to go ahead with his protest fast from June 4.

He said, "The PM has appealed that I should not go ahead with my fast but I will start my fast from June 4 to save our country." He was speaking to a congregation during his morning yoga session in Ujjain on early morning June 1.

It can be recalled that Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh had appealed to the Yoga Guru to call off his planned fast against corruption and black money scheduled to start on June 4.

The Yoga guru said he was confident of the Central government's cooperation and called on the general public to join him in his proposed fast over black money.

He said, "I am going to Delhi with full confidence and I hope to bring back all the Indian black money. There should be a national debate on whether the PM and CJI should be in the ambit of the Lokpal Bill. The decision of the people should be accepted."
