Srinagar, May 30: Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and army have been entangled in a fight as the CM claimed that infiltration of Pakistani terrorists through LoC still continues.

The Jammu Kashmir CM said, "There is credible information to suggest that there have been successful attempts of infiltration last month (Apr). The figure has yet to verify by the multi-agency centre in Delhi. So as of now it is provisional but there is an indication that anything between 30-40 terrorists have crossed over and this information was independently provided both by the state intelligence agencies as well as central intelligence agencies."

But giving some different report from Omar's statement, Lieutenant General Parnaik said, "A large number of attempts have been made since last month (Apr) but to the best of our knowledge they have not succeeded in infiltrating as yet. There are reports of a few groups having infiltrated already in certain traditional areas, but it will have to be confirmed on ground by us, and by the security agencies and the intelligence agencies."

Lieutenant General Hassnian also claimed, "There is a concentration of terrorists taking place in the traditional launch pads in the Guraiz and the Kupwara areas particularly across the Line of Control. The terrorist leadership will attempt to send across people because definitely there is a problem here taking place with the kind of successful encounters that the army has had particularly over the last 10-15 days."
