Zuckerberg loves kids; promises Facebook access for minors
While attending NewSchools Summit in California, Mark Zuckerberg said that his social networking site with more than 600 million active users, Facebook, may allow children below 13 years to access the platform.
Despite of a Senate panel's recommendation regarding the online security of young children, Zuckerberg wants young children to use his social platform. Zuckerberg said, "In the future, software and technology will enable people to learn a lot from their fellow students."
"Education is clearly the biggest thing that will drive how the economy improves over the long term," he added.
Presently, Facebook has set an age limit of 13 years to use it. And moreover, recently, a Facebook official said that the company has been kicking about 20,000 people out of the site everyday for lying about their age. But, now Facebook CEO wants to extend Facebook services to school children.
