Tributes paid to Rajiv Gandhi
Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan administered the anti-terrorism pledge to the employees, bureaucrats at Mantralaya, the state government headquarters.
The pledge to remain united and fight terrorism was also taken at Cooperage grounds here after Chavan garlanded the statue of Rajiv Gandhi.
Apart from Chavan, State Congress President, Manikrao Thakre, Union Minister, Murli Deora, State Textile minister, Mohammed Arif Naseem Khan were present at Cooperage, Mumbai Congress office as well as State Congress headquarters at Tilak Bhavan in Central Mumbai.
