World's 1st Dual-core Mobile LG Optimus 2X @ Rs 26,990
One of the leading online retailers in India, Flipkart offers the new Android LG Optimus 2X at Rs 26,990, where the official price of this smartphone is Rs 30,000. Despite its rebooting issues, LG Optimus 2X grabbed much attention from smartphone lovers with its powerful Nvidia's Tegra 2 processor on board.
Recently, LG confirmed that the company is going to release a fix to solve the rebooting issues on Optimus 2X, making it a real competitor to the much popular Nokia smartphones, E7 and N8, and other Android mobiles. LG Optimus 2X has a 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system that can be upgraded to 2.3 Gingerbread.
LG Optimus 2X boasts an 8 megapixel camera at rear with LED flash and autofocus technology. It is also capable of recording videos at 1080p@24fps. The front-facing secondary camera has 1.3 megapixel resolution and offers video calling on 3G networks.
This mobile comes with an internal memory of 8 GB, which can be expanded up to 32 GB using micro SD cards. The enormous memory capacity helps the user to store more videos and songs. Other features include HDMI port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, and Stereo FM radio with RDS.
