Download new movies from Android Market @ $1.99
The Android device users can now download more than 3,000 movies from Android Market directly to their computers, Android smartphones and tablets. New 'Google Movies' let users to stream movies from Hollywood tycoons like Universal, Sony, Warner Bros, Anchor Bay and others.
The pricing of the movies will start from $1.99. Once downloaded, there is a 30-day rental period and once started, owners have 24 hours to watch the movie. Google said that it will add more movies to its collection in near future.
"You can choose to rent from thousands of movies starting at $1.99 and have them available across your Android devices - rent a movie on your home computer, and it"ll be available for viewing on your tablet or phone," Hugo Barra, product management director for Android, wrote on Google blog.
Earlier, Google added their movie-rental-service to YouTube, where users can watch movies for rent through YouTube Movie channel. Google's movie announcement came along with the cloud music service, Google Music Beta, which allows users to store music in cloud storage.
