Al Jazeera releases App for Android & BlackBerry
The new Al Jazeera apps for Android and BlackBerry let users to send pictures and videos to Al Jazeera via the app itself. This feature helps users to send videos or photos that can break news. Just like the YouTube videos uploaded by Egyptians during the agitation, these photos and videos also can reveal the real picture than any other media coverage.
Al Jazeera, which is owned by Qatar Media Corporation, has already released app for Nokia and iOS devices. Now, this English channel, which was famous for its coverage during the American invasion of Iraq, will be available in all leading smartphone platforms.
