Yousuf Raza Gilani
Islamabad, May 9: More than eight days have been passed and for the first time on Monday, May 9 Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani addressed the Parliament of the country about al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden's killing.

Defending its intelligence agency ISI, Gilani criticised US and Barack Obama authorised mission - Kill Osama operation - Geronimo.

Obama recently slammed Pakistan by stating that Osama had support from within the country. Responding to Obama's criticism, Gilani hurled attack on US as the PM chided, "Who was responsible for creating Osama? Who created al Qaeda?"

"Killing of Osama bin Laden is indeed justice done but Pakistan is not in hurry to celebrate victory. The US unilateral action against bin Laden was taken without Pakistan's concurrence. We regret this unilateral action. Such actions run the risk of serious inherent consequences," Gilani added.

"ISI is a national asset, we are proud of its accomplishments," added Gilani.

Defending its defence system, the PM also claimed, "We had warned western nations about the flawed military campaign in Tora Bora. We did not invite al Qaeda to Pakistan. The war against terrorism is the nation's priority, it's a national cause. We will not allow our soil to be used by anyone for terror."
