New Delhi, May 9: When everyone seems to be heaving a collective sigh of relief after the death of Osama Bin Laden, al-Qaeda"s leader and imagined that the terrorists globally would lie low for a while, you got it wrong. The latest event to come under the terror threat is the IPL match at Indore. Intelligence reports suggest that the LeT and the Indian Mujahideen might be planning an attack.

The match between Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Kings XI Punjab scheduled to be held in the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore is under terror cover. Scheduled to be held on May 13, Friday, the match will see heightened security and vigilance. After the inputs were received, the Home Ministry has passed on the information to the Madhya Pradesh government. The Holkar stadium is considered the most sensitive location in MP.

A Home Ministry official has been quoted as saying, "We are not taking any chances on whatever information we have received. So, we have alerted the Madhya Pradesh government to take all necessary security measures immediately." The MP government on its part have beefed up arrangements and has been asked to increase the patrolling, checking of vehicles, viewers frisking and other important security measures.

While the officials are taking a no-holds barred approach in regards to security arrangements, they are also simultaneously verifying the credibility of the information. The Home Ministry is taking cognizance of the fact that terror threats to India will see an upswing after the recent developments in the sub continent.
