Sony Ericsson reveals Android QWERTY mobile Xperia Mini Pro

Mumbai, May 7: Making a strong come back to Indian handset market, Sony Ericsson unveiled its new Android smartphones, Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro in the country. Featuring a powerful processor and social networking features, these two mobiles will blow the minds of gadget geeks in India.

Planning to overcome the recent setbacks in India, Sony Ericsson unveiled their new handsets packed with all features of a costly smartphone. Among the new mobiles, Xperia Mini Pro has decent features of business-class handset along with other multimedia entertainments. The new 5 megapixel camera, which can record High Definition (HD) videos, makes the Xperia Mini Pro world's smallest HD video recording smartphone.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro has a 3-inch capacitive touch screen packed Sony Bravia Engine. This Reality Display makes the display screen sharp and crisp. This smartphone also packs a slide-out QWERTY keypad for fast typing and messaging.

Xperia Mini Pro runs on Android 1.6 Donut operating system and is upgradable to Android 2.1 Eclair OS. This smartphone is powered by 1 Ghz Qualcomm snapdragon processor to meet the computing requirements for business needs. Xperia Mini Pro has only 128 MB internal memory, but supports 16 GB memory expansion using micro SD cards.

The Facebook inside feature integrates social networking on Xperia Mini Pro. Users can access Facebook from most used areas of the phone including picture gallery, music player, phone book and calendar. Users can also share photos with their friends through Facebook directly from the Gallery without going for special Facebook application.
