The whole United States and other parts of the world started celebrating after receiving the news which has been described as the "most significant and historic win" by the US president.

Laden's death is believed as one of the biggest victories of Obama but the incident, however, unearthed the reality of Pakistan. Laden was killed in Abbottabad, 150 km north away from Islamabad.

Pakistan had so far denied the presence of the al-Qaeda chief, the mastermind of 9/11 attacks - Osama Bin Laden within its territory. Now, the special operation conducted by the US army and CIA killed Laden and his family members outside a mansion in Islamabad, confirmed the US president.

Sources also claimed that US did not inform Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI about the special operation conducted by them. US had recently described Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) as a terrorist organisation.

Obama, in his statement from the White House, stated that US officials have taken bin Laden's body in their custody and also informed that no Americans were harmed during the operation.
