Samsung Galaxy S II to hit India in May; Specs & Review
Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy S II smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2011. Till then this smartphone grabbed much attention from smartphone lovers around the globe. Many critics awarded it the 'The Real iPhone-Killer' brand for its advanced features and specifications.
The new Samsung Galaxy S II has a 4.3 inch SuperAMOLED Plus display to offer never-before entertainment experience on smartphones. Samsung made the Galaxy S II smartphone more powerful by packing a 1.2 GHz Dual-core Samsung Orion Processor. It is powerful enough to run the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and Touchwiz 4.0 UI. Moreover, this new smartphone has 1GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage. Memory can be extended up to 32 GB using micro SD cards.
Galaxy S 2 boasts dual camera, an 8 megapixel at rear and a front-facing 2 megapixel. The rear camera is also equipped with LED Flash. The front camera will support video calling on 3G network. The connectivity options include WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 2.0 MicroUSB and 3.5mm Ear Jack.
This phone has a dimension of 125.3X66.1X8.49mm and supports video formats like MPEG4, H.264, H.263, WMV, DivX, Xvid, VC-1. Users can play audio files like MP3, OGG, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, WMA, WAV, MID, AC3, IMY, FLAC, XMF.
