New Delhi, Apr 24: Any cricket news - be it World Cup or IPL, always grasp the centre attention of the media and the people in the country. Indian media went cricket frenzy over Sachin Tendulkar's decision to play or not to play the IPL match on Sunday, Apr 24.
Snubbing all media speculations about his IPL match, Tendulkar has played the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Decan Chargers. Hours ahead the match, Tendulkar himself confirmed the news by stating, "Yes, I am playing the match."
All speculations began brewing in the air after the death news of Sathya Sai Baba. It is always been believed that the iconic player was among the prominent followers of the godman.
Citing Sai Baba's health, Sachin on Apr 23 tweeted, "I m praying for Shri Sathya Sai Baba's quick recovery. Hope everyone will join me in praying for his return to good health."
However, leaving million of his devotees in a mourning mode, the 85-year-old Sai Baba passed away on Sunday, Apr 24. Ironically, Sachin's birthday also was on the same day and Sachin skipped his birthday celebration to pay his tribute to Sai Baba.
