"We respect Anna Hazare, his demands were just but this does not mean that all the people associated with him are upright," he said.
Without naming anyone, Singhvi said that many people associated with Hazare neither have a right objective nor are they apolitical.
However, he said that it was not proper to dub the entire campaign of Anna Hazare as a sponsored one.
Regarding drafting of the proposed Lokpal bill, he said that the members of the Centre and civil society have to put their heads together to prepare the blueprint of the bill.
"The government and members of civil society have to work in good coordination to prepare the draft of the Lokpal bill as you need two hands to clap," Singhvi said.
