LG launches Dual Core Optimus 2X @ 30,000: Specs & Review
The new LG Optimus 2X would be the most powerful smartphone available in Indian stores. Optimus 2X is powered with Nvidia's Tegra 2 processor and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system that can be upgraded to 2.3 Gingerbread.
LG Optimus 2X has a massive 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The powerful processor helps the phone to play videos and other multimedia content smoothly on the big screen. The touchscreen is also equipped with proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Gyro sensor and touch-sensitive controls for a never-before touch experience.
LG's new smartphone has an 8 megapixel camera at rear with LED flash and autofocus technology. LG also offers a 1.3 front-facing camera for video calling on 3G network. The rear camera can record videos at 1080p@24fps. This mobile comes with an internal memory of 8 GB, which can be expanded up to 32 GB using micro SD cards. The enormous memory capacity helps the user to store more videos and songs.
This new smartphone also has the features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, and Stereo FM radio with RDS. The SNS integration brings all social networking sites a fingertouch away. With the HDMI port, users can share and view their videos on compatible devices.

Along

this
smartphone,

announced
another
phone
dubbed
as

Black

27,000.

the
end
of
Apr
2011.
"Optimus range will get 10 more devices in the next six months. It (Optimus 2X) is an exceptional smartphone as it delivers powerful performance with the dual-core processor, as well as enhanced user interface and multimedia experience," LG Electronics India Business Head (Mobile Communication) Vishal Chopra said.
The new LG Optimus 2X and Optimus Black will compete with the recently launched high-end smartphones like Nokia E7, HTC Incredible S, Acer Liquid Metal, HTC Desire Z, Samsung Nexus S and Motorola Milestone 2.
