Samsung unveils Google Nexus S in India @ Rs 30,400
It seems like India is becoming the biggest market for featured mobiles and smartphones. Ther latest trend in Indian handset market is smartphones that cost above Rs 15,000. All major brands like Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Dell, Sony Ericsson are shifting their focus from low-cost mobiles to smartphones. In near future we can expect more samrtphones with advanced features.
The new Nexus S smartphone is a joint venture from the search engine giant Google and Samsung, world's second largest mobile maker. Google unveiled Nexus S mobile in Dec 2010 and rolled out in various markets, but delayed the Indian launch. Now, India can also taste the Nexus S.
The new Samsung Nexus S has a 4-inch Contour Display that is specially designed to fit comfortably in user's palm and along the side of the face. Nexus S runs on on Google 2.3 Gingerbread OS powered with 1GHz Hummingbird processor with 16 GB internal memory.
The Google Nexus S has a 5 megapixel camera at rear with LED flash and a front-facing VGA camera for video calling. Other special feature of this smartphones is the NFC (near field communication) hardware that lets users read information from everyday objects that have NFC tags.
