Aarushi's accused parents' struggle continues; moves SC

New Delhi, Mar 19: After Allahabad High Court squashed Rajesh and Nupur Talwar's plea challenging Ghaziabad court's order, the accused couple refused to accept the defeat. Now, Talwar couple moved the Supreme Court challenging the high court's order.

Yesterday (Friday, Mar 18), the high court, upholding the lower court's order, asked Aarushi's mother Nupur Talwar to appear before court regarding the dual murder of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.

13-year-old Aarushi and Hemraj were found dead in 2008 in their Noida residence. From the very beginning of the investigation, Aarushi's father Rajesh Talwar centered the probe procedures. However, for the first time, a special CBI court, recently named Nupur as another accused in the dual murder case.

Aarushi's mother Nupur also had filed a criminal revision petition in the Allahabad High Court. The petition claims that the CBI had conducted an incomplete investigation into the murder. In her petition, Dr Nupur also mentioned the lose ends of the investigation including touch DNA test was not adopted to build or gather evidence against the accused.
