New Delhi, Mar 4: Once again Babri Masjid demolition case raised its head and this time it seems that it would not spare politicians like senior BJP ledaer LK Advani or Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray so easily.

In a recent development in the Babri demolition case, the Supreme Court on Friday, Mar 4, issued notices to Advani and other 20 other political leaders. Some names of other leadars are - Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti and Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray.

The court now noticed Advani and others charging them with conspiracy to raze Babri Masjid.

Earlier, the officials of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) moved the Supreme court opposing Allahabad High Court's judgment clearing BJP leader LK Advani and other leaders in the Babri demolition case.

The High Court in May 2010, had quashed the criminal conspiracy case against Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti and many others.

There were two sets of cases -- one against Advani and others who were on the dais at Ram Katha Kunj in Ayodhya on December six, 1992 when the Babri Masjid was demolished, while the other case was against lakhs of unknown 'kar sevaks' who were in and around the disputed structure.
