Congress Minister may quit over Telangana issue

Hyderabad, Mar 3: Andhra Pradesh Endoments Minister Jupally Krishna Rao is thinking of quitting his post over the Telangana issue, sources close to him said  on Thursday, Mar 3.

Rao, who hails from Mahabubnagar district, would soon give the details on his plan, they said. The development comes against the backdrop of increasing pressure on the Congress leaders to quit their posts in support of separate Telangana demand.

The comments of Congress MP K Sambasiva Rao, that the Telananga leaders should make sacrifices instead of finding fault with leaders from non-Telangana regions, could also be a reason for Rao''s plans to quit.
