Microsoft to uncover Windows 8 Tablets OS in 2011

San Francisco, Mar 2: To compete with the rivals, computer giant Microsoft plans to extend its arms to new fields of the technology. Media reported Microsoft has been planning to launch a new Windows 8 operating system with tablets User Interface.

Microsoft dominates the computer market with its widely popular Windows OS. But in tablet market, Microsoft has been facing downtrend with the emerge of Google Android OS. Currently, most of the tablets available in the market are running on Android and Apple iOS. How ever, some manufactures have tablets powered with Windows 7 OS.

The rumored Windows 8 Tablet OS is expected to land by Jun 2011. This Windows version would be specially designed for tablets and may use the Windows Phone 7 UI. The new Windows 8 OS would support the newest technologies like USB 3.0, Bluetooth 3.0 etc.

Various technology sites and blogs reported that the Windows 8 will be available by Jun 2011 and the first beta version in Sep followed by more beta releases. The final candidate release would be in 2012. The release of the new tablet OS will make tablet market more competitive and agressive. Let's wait for the big war. Stay tuned for more updates.
