Allahabad, Feb.28: The Allahabad High Court will resume the hearing of Nupur Talwar's plea challenging a Ghaziabad CBI court's order. The probe agency  in its closure report accused Nupur and her husband, Rajesh Talwar, the main accused in the murder of their teenage daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.

The high court had began hearing a writ petition filed by Nupur on Friday, challenging the summons issued to them by the CBI court in Ghaziabad in the double murder case. The plea stating that the CBI had conducted a half- hearted and incomplete investigation and that scientific methods of criminal investigation like 'touch DNA' were not adopted to gather evidence against the accused.

On Feb 9, the CBI court had directed the investigating agency to prosecute the Talwars for the murder of 13-year-old Aarushi and Hemraj. They were also accused of criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence.

The CBI court had given its orders following submission of a closure report by the CBI, which named Aarushi's father Rajesh Talwar as the prime accused, but said he could not be prosecuted due to lack of evidence.

The Talwars want the high court to cancel the order passed by the Ghaziabad CBI court and direct agencies to carry out further investigation in the case.

Aarushi, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her parents' Jalvayu Vihar apartment in Noida on May 16, 2008. The next day, their domestic help, Hemraj's body was found on the flat's terrace
