New Delhi, Feb 27: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) promises to give security to its customer but the agency reportedly failed to arrange enough security to maintain its examination question papers. The question paper of an all-India examination for the post of assistant administrative officer of LIC were leaked in New Delhi.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Ashok Chand informed, "The question papers have been leaked. We got some copies of the question papers for the exam and when we tallied these copies with the original question paper, they were found to be the same."

However, LIC officials were not available to comment on the issue. No information is yet received whether the examination, which is scheduled to be held on Mar 4, is annulled or postponed.

Sources reported that Delhi's crime branch has carried out raids at the two centres in Janakpuri and Andrews Ganj in the city. At least one person was detained in connection with the incident, sources confirmed.

The whole incident came under the spotlight after Delhi Police's crime branch got hold of the copies of the question paper from some persons much ahead of the scheduled time of the exam.
