Wankhede to host practice game on November 27

Mumbai, Feb 25 (PTI) The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA)will organise a practice match at the Wankhede stadium, venueof the ongoing World Cup final, on February 27 to test thepitch and outfield conditions.

"The final of the local T20 tournament, a day-nightaffair, will be organised at the Wankhede on Sunday," MCAjoint secretary Lalchand Rajput told PTI after theassociation''s Managing Committee here this evening.

The association will also meet the city police officialson Monday to seek their opinion on whether to sell the about3,000 remaining tickets, for the three World Cup matches to beheld at the Wankhede, online or by setting up booths, he said.
