Bravo ruled out of World Cup for four weeks: report

New Delhi, Feb 25 (PTI) West Indies today suffered a hugeset back with all-rounder Dwayne Bravo ruled out of the WorldCup because of a knee injury that he suffered during theiropening group A match against South Africa.

Bravo had sustained the injury during South Africa''sinnings yesterday and was taken off the pitch immediately.

Trying to stop a deliver in his follow through, Bravo hadcollapsed and was visually seen to be in pain.

"Bravo has suffered a cartilage damage in his left knee.

MRI was done today and results confirm the injury. He willneed minimum four weeks time to recover and is ruled out ofthe World Cup," West Indies Philip Spooner told PTI.

It is a fresh blow for West Indies, who are alreadydealing with injuries after their opener Adrian Barath andwicketkeeper Carlton Baugh were ruled out of the World Cupbefore the start of the mega event.
