Police constable killed, 3 others injured in accident
Dehra Dun, Feb 25 (PTI) One police constable was killedwhile three others were injured when a car in which they weretraveling fell into a gorge at Chamba area of Tehri district,police today said.
The mishap took place last evening when the Uttarakhandpolice constables were returning to Uttarkashi aftercompleting their duty at Piran Kaliyar mela at Roorkee.
Constable Lokesh Saini died on the spot, they said.
Other three constables -- Anil Kumar, Amit Saini andSandip Saini have been admitted to a nearby hospital wheretheir condition is stated to be normal.
