Bhupen Hazarika''s condition improves
Guwahati, Feb 25 (PTI) The condition of DadasahebPhalke awardee Bhupen Hazarika, who was admitted to a privatehospital here with respiratory problems, today showedimprovement.
The 85-year-old music maestro''s condition has improvedconsiderably, sources in Hyatt Hospital where he was admittedyesterday said.
The eminent singer had complained of difficulty inbreathing after he attended a programme at the Sri SriSankardeb Kalakshetra last evening, his family said.
He was immediately taken to the nearby Hyatt Hospitalwhere cardiologists and critical care doctors attended tohim, the sources said.
After he was admitted, a series of tests wereconducted on him and he kept was under observation, thesources said.
The Assam Ratna'' awardee had undergone a coronarybypass surgery in August 2009 in Mumbai.
