Arunachal Congress wants probe into Ramdev property

Itanagar, Feb 25 (PTI) Arunachal Pradesh CongressCommittee (APCC) has demanded yoga guru Ramdev to come cleanon the source of funding for his activities before targetingthe ruling party on the issue of black money and corruption.

"Ramdev�s property and income should be investigatedand made public," party spokesman Vishal P Nabam said in astatement here today.

Defending party MP Ninong Ering, who was engaged in awar of words with Ramdev when the latter was conducting a yogacamp at Pasighat in East Siang district, Nabam alleged thatRamdev�s recent visit to Arunachal was not for spreading themessage of importance of yoga but "a political game plan ofhis unknown and unrecognised political party.""We have seen many renowned world leaders like theDalai Lama, Pope, Ravi Shankar but they never interfered ingovernment functioning and never criticised any politicalparty or leader," he said.
