Bangalore, Feb 24 (PTI): The India SemiconductorAssociation (ISA), the apex trade body representing the Indiansemiconductor and electronics industry, today signed an MoUwith DSP Valley Belgium to foster electronics andsemiconductor industries across the two geographies.
The MoU was signed by ISA President Poornima Shenoy andDSP Valley Belgium Managing Director of Peter Simkens.
The MoU focuses on developing business ties betweencompanies in the semiconductor design sector in India and inBelgium, Bangalore-headquartered ISA said in a statement.
Simkens said "Our two associations will work with thecommon objective of promoting ties between companies in thetwo geographies."
DSP Valley is home to Philips, NXP, IMEC, and other globalleading institutions.
Poornima Shenoy said: "DSP Valley is an interestingcluster of research and IP companies and institutes.With thegrowing focus to generate IP out of Indian companies, there isscope for learning and collaboration".
