Mumbai, Feb 24 (PTI) Two wheeler-maker, Bajaj AutoLimited (BAL), today launched its 2011 edition ofDiscover--Discover 100, and said that it has sold more than40-lakh Discover brand motor-cycles since its launch in 2004.
The 2011 edition of Discover 100 will have new premiumand innovative multi-colour decals in two options of goldgreen and red magenta. The key feature of this multi colourdecal is ''Auto Colour change''.
It is a very innovative and premium feature introducedfor the first time in the motor-cycle industry and alsopossibly in the entire auto industry, the company said in astatement here.
The new edition of the Discover 100 will also retainits world-class mileage--a mileage which is way beyond whatany existing 100 cc bikes have to offer.
The big milestone of 40-lakh has been achieved in avery quick time essentially on the back of splendidperformances by Discover 100 and Discover 150. To celebratethis stupendous success Bajaj Auto is introducing the 2011edition of the largest selling variant of Discover--Discover100, the statement said.
"We have recently appointed more than 130 additionaldealers and I expect them to contribute towards the growth ofDiscover next year. So with a wider network and with the newproduct innovation, Discover should also keep growing," BajajAuto''s President (Motor-cycles), S Sridhar, said.
