Haryana constitutes Sexual Harassment Complaints Committee
Chandigarh, Feb 22 (PTI) The Haryana government hasconstituted a seven-member Sexual Harassment ComplaintsCommittee to deal with the complaints relating to sexualharassment of women employees.
The Committee will look into the complaints of womenemployees against officers, including those from the IAS,IFS, IRS and Haryana Civil Services.
Joint Secretary, General Administration has beennominated as the Nodal Officer for receiving such complaints.
The committee will have to submit an annual report to thestate government.
The Committee is headed by Surina Rajan, FinancialCommissioner and Principal Secretary, School Education,Department while Director, Women and Child Development, DheeraKhandelwal, would be among its members, an official spokesmansaid.
The Committee will be headquartered here, but it canhold meetings anywhere within the state, if needed, thespokesman added.
