Goods worth over Rs 5.4 cr traded along LoC
Poonch (J&K) Feb 22 (PTI) Goods worth over Rs 5.44crore were traded between Jammu and Kashmir and PakistanOccupied Kashmir along the Line of Control (LoC) here today.
As many as 25 trucks, carrying bags of coconut, redChilli and embroidery items worth over Rs 1.63 crore, rolledout of the Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonchto PoK, they said.
From PoK, 25 trucks carrying bags of almond, dates,pista and peshawari sandals worth over Rs 3.80 crore crossedto this side.
Officials from both the side monitored thetransportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing pointtwice during the day from 1200 hrs to 1230 hrs and 1700 hrs to1730 hrs respectively, they said.
