Panaji, Feb 22 (PTI) The NCP will take a final viewtomorrow on whether to continue support to the Digambar Kamatministry in Goa after the Chief Minister declined to accepttheir demand for dropping two ministers of the SharadPawar-led party.
"Pawar is agreeable to withdrawing support to the Kamatgovernment but a final decision will be taken tomorrow," NCPlegislator Francisco Pacheco told PTI from New Delhi.
NCP, which is a coalition partner in Digambar Kamat-ledgovernment, was rattled after two of its ministers JosePhilip D''Souza and Nilkant Halarnkar, began hobnobbing withthe Congress.
Pawar then had asked both the ministers to quit from thecabinet, which they refused to do.
The NCP chief had then asked Kamat to drop them from theCabinet. However, his requests were not conceded to by theCongress, which feared a major revolt within the party led byPublic Works Department minister Churchill Alemao.
Its not immediately known whether D''Souza and Harlankarwill go with the party''s decision in the event of withdrawalof support.
Senior state NCP leaders led by Pacheco have been campingin Delhi since the last two days after they were summoned byPawar following NCP state executives'' threat to resign en-massfrom the party.
The leaders are rallying behind Pacheco, who has not beeninducted in the cabinet by the Congress-led state governmentalthough the NCP high command has cleared his induction.
