Hearing arguments in the case today, the division bench comprising Justice S P Deshmukh and Justice F M Reis orderedthat Union of India be made respondent to the petition.
Advocate General Subodh Kantak argued that the caseshould be kept pending till Union of India is made arespondent.
Surendra Desai, lawyer representing the petitioner,pleaded before the court that the investigation of the case bemonitored by the High Court."CBI should probe the entire nexus under supervision ofthe High Court," he said.
