Hyderabad, Feb 22 (PTI) Another accused in the caserelated to murder of TDP legislator Paritala Ravindra, T KondaReddy, was killed by unidentified gunmen at his house inAnantapur town of the state this evening, police said.
Konda Reddy, accused No.13 in Ravindra murder case, wasshot dead by four persons who fired at least five rounds usingsmall firearms at around 6.15 pm, resulting in Konda''sdeath on the spot, a senior police officer told PTI overphone.
"The four assailants who came on two bikes enteredReddy�s house by telling his family members that they wantedto meet him, and opened fired on him," the officer said,adding that gunmen immediately fled after that.
Konda Reddy, a Congress leader and former MandalPresident of Kangaganapalle town, was arrested in Ravindramurder case in 2005 and came out on bail in February 2009. Hehad survived three attempts on his life earlier.
Earlier, on January 3, G Suryanarayana Reddy aliasSuri, a faction leader from Anantapur district in Rayalaseemaregion of Andhra Pradesh, who was the prime accused inRavindra murder case, was shot dead by gunmen at Yousufgudaarea here.
Hyderabad police had arrested four persons in connectionwith his killing even as the main suspect and his one-timeaide, Bhanu Kiran, continues to remain at large.
Paritala Ravindra, the TDP legislator from Penukonda,was gunned down by Suri�s followers in January 2005 and achargesheet was filed against 16 persons.
According to the chargesheet filed by CBI in May 2005,the murder was a result of rivalry between the families ofRavi and Suri.
