51 govt employees absent from duty during raid in Srinagar
Srinagar, Feb 21 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir government todayconducted surprise raids in various city hospitals and found51 employees, including 11 doctors, absent from duty followingwhich action has been initiated action against them.
The inspection team also raided several private clinicsand nursing homes and found two professors of SKIMS medicalcollege running private practice despite gettingnon-practising allowance from the government, an officialspokesman said.
While its raid at a city private hospital, the team foundtwo government doctors working there during office hours.
The team visited the Government Gousia Hospital Khanyarand found 51 employees, including 11 doctors absent fromduties.
The spokesman said action under rules has been startedagainst all the erring doctors and employees.
