Bangalore, Feb 21 (PTI) Cleared of any injury after anMRI scan, Sachin Tendulkar today arrived here to join hisIndia teammates ahead of their second World Cup Group B matchagainst England on February 27.
The team management, however, is yet to confirm whetherTendulkar will join the team''s training session at the MChinnaswamy Stadium here tomorrow afternoon.
The senior India batsman underwent an MRI scan lastnight at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after experiencinguneasiness in his knees, but all doubts vanished after the MRIscan.
"The MRI scan is clear. There is no problem," a Lilavatihospital spokesperson told PTI today.
Sources said the scan was done as a precautionarymeasure.
Meanwhile, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni alsoarrived in the city from Ranchi this evening, after attendingthe ongoing 34th National Games in his hometown yesterday.
Most of the Indian players, who arrived here last night,chose to remain at the hotel. Only pacers Zaheer Khan andAshish Nehra spent about 90 minutes at the Gymnasium in theNational Cricket Academy.
Nehra did not find a place in the playing eleven inthe team''s opening match against Bangladesh last week due to aback spasm.
