New Delhi, Feb 18 (PTI) Opener Adrian Barath andwicketkeeper-batsman Carlton Baugh will be returning home in acouple of days time after sustaining hamstring injuries thatwill keep them out of action for the next three weeks.
"They will be returning home in the next couple of days,"media manager Philip Spooner informed today.
It will definitely be a huge blow for West Indies asBarath was in good form of late having scored a century in therecently concluded ODI series in Sri Lanka. Barath has played4 Test and 8 ODIs for West Indies having scored a century ineach of the versions.
Baugh has played eight Tests and 33 ODIs for West Indies.
The two replacement players are batsman Kirk Edwards andwicketkeeper Devon Thomas. 26-year-old Edwards representsBarbados and has played 26 first-class matches so far.
21-year-old Thomas played two ODIs for West Indiesagainst Bangladesh in 2009 when the top rung cricketersrefused to play due to payment dispute.
