New Delhi, Feb 17 (PTI) Twelve junior doctors were todayallegedly thrashed by shopkeepers at a market in south Delhifollowing an argument over the amount of money they paid afterhaving their food.
Police said the doctors from Safdarjung hospital werebeaten up by some shopkeepers at the Yousuf Sarai market afteran argument.
They said while four doctors claimed they paid thecashier at a restaurant Rs 500, the shopkeeper said it wasjust Rs 100, which led to the argument.
Colleagues of the doctors gathered at the market toprotest the incident which affected the traffic for some time.
Police were yet to register a case.
